Ore Monogatari - no relation to the series above I also think the romance between Araragi and Senjougahara in the Monogatari franchise is worth watching even tho it isn't a "romance" anime. I didn't include works that you already listed. I really enjoyed it! But now I'm left super disappointed with how they ended it.wish they made more episodes :( So I took your advice and watched Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My Little Monster). I may include a link to this one as well because I think it's good. I hope that's OK but it should actually benefit you because it will likely link to yours in Related. I'm working on my own best romance list right now, but mine will be very different and probably have closer to 25 shows, or more. Naomi Starlight from Illinois on May 02, 2018: I would give toradora and golden time the no 1 spot romance isn’t the focus of the show, it’s action but there is definitely romance, like nalu in fairy tail which used to be my fav anime ship but it started to seem like too much fan service ( still super good if you haven’t seen it). And the third anime I’d have to say would be the one in noragami and I don’t even know why I love it so much. I love all these anime’s!! I’d have to say 3 romances in anime tie for me and that’s the romances in toradara, nisekoi which is soooo good but for some reason in the anime’s second season the didn’t do the episodes in the order the chapters went so you start to feel like it won’t happen but honestly the anime and manga is so addictive. I would give Special A,Maid Sama! and Toradora! the no 1 spot Not only this I have some other that I would like to recommend such as Vampire knight Kiss him not me Wolf girl and the black prince etc. I think kamisama hajimemashta is worth enough to be on the list. I don't know how Tsuki Ga Kirei or True Tears doesn't make the list. I really feel like this anime did an amazing job accurately portraying all the themes it approaches. Something i really love about kimi ni todoke is the fact that it addresses all types of love, not only romantic love but also love through friendship, trusting new people and letting yourself, well, be yourself with the people around you, opening up and learning to trust your friends and be honest. Kimi ni Todoke really is my favorite out of this list (tho Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is a close second !!!) i really loved the unexpected aspect of this anime, especially of the main character, it's not too cliché but sweet enough for all the romance lovers out there.
I've watched a lot of rom anime buh I think koi to Uso is best so far. It is realistic in so many ways, it tells you that nothing is easy in this world, but you gotta keep on going, even if it means leaving behind precious memories. I finished Golden Time weeks ago, and to see it in this list, is pretty great. The two cooperate and form a pact to help each other win over their respective crushes. Now, Taiga is intent on pulverizing Ryuuji for knowing his secret, but he later discovers that Ryuuji also has a crush on her best friend. So when Taiga mistakes Ryuuji’s bag for his best friend's, her secret crush is revealed. Both Ryuuji and Taiga have their own crushes-coincidentally, on each other's best friend. Aisaka Taiga, on the other hand, looks small and gentle, but she is actually as fierce as a tiger. Takasu Ryuuji looks like a delinquent because of his intimidating eyes and stares. Some elements may seem very cliché, but even those things are handled in a very brilliant way. From the beginning, the characters are fairly hostile to each other until their true feelings and emotions are revealed. It’s romantic, it’s comedic! And even sometimes very dramatic! Toradora is one romance anime everyone can truly enjoy.
